Tulsa, OK – The City of Tulsa and Tulsa County have joined in a cooperative effort to widen East 101st Street at South Memorial Drive. The City of Tulsa will provide the cost of materials and Tulsa County will provide labor for construction. Tulsa County will post message boards in the project area to notify motorists of traffic conditions.
Beginning on Monday, June 8, construction will begin for widening East 101st Street just east of South Memorial Drive. East 101st Street will be closed at this location for two months during the work.
Motorists will not be able to turn east from Memorial Drive to 101st Street. Also, residents of the Ridge Pointe neighborhood should use East 98th Street to enter the subdivision. South 84th East Avenue will be closed during the construction on East 101st Street.
