Forecasters say unseasonably warm weather and gusty winds will put parts of Oklahoma at a high risk for wildfires on Monday.
A red flag warning is in effect from noon until 7 p.m. on Monday. The National Weather Service says temperatures could top 100 degrees in some areas, and winds of 20 mph to 25 mph are expected.
Forecasters say some areas could see gusts of 40 mph. Northwest Oklahoma is at the greatest risk for wildfires, but the entire state could see record-breaking high temperatures Monday.
Forecasters say a cold front is expected to move through the state Tuesday.
