The Public Service Company is making steady progress in getting its service restored to customers in Northeastern Oklahoma. As of 4:30 on Saturday afternoon, the utility still had about five-thousand customers off line. Most of those were in Tulsa County. The rest, about one-thousand, were in Creek County.
At the peak of the outage, PSO had nearly 18-thousand customers off line. The power was severed after storms and high winds blew through the region on Friday afternoon. The storm system left four-people dead in northeast Oklahoma.
