Oklahoma City, OK – OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma Department of Human Services commissioners have agreed to use about $10 million in one-time funding to prevent benefit reductions to two programs for low-income Oklahomans.

The vote Tuesday avoids an increase in co-payments for the child-care subsidy program and a reduction in monthly funding to a program for families with developmentally disabled children.

DHS Director Howard Hendrick said the money comes from amounts carried over from previous years.
