Power Use Up in Heat

Tulsa, OK – We have not hit a power consumption record in this heat, but we have flirted with the all time high. That was set back in 2008 when PSO customers demanded 42-hundred megawatts.

PSO's Stan Whiteford says peak usage generally comes late in the afternoon. He says the utility is in good shape, but he does urge conservation.
