Porter Man Killed in Crash on Creek Turnpike

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Porter man was killed when the sport utility vehicle he was driving crashed on the Creek Turnpike in Wagoner County.

Troopers say 53-year-old Randy Ernsten was southbound on the turnpike near Broken Arrow Thursday when he drove off the roadway and traveled 475 feet before hitting an embankment and going airborne. The SUV then landed in a ravine.
