Harrah, OK – Harrah police shoot, wound man after traffic stop

HARRAH, Okla. (AP) Police in Harrah say an officer shot and wounded a man during a traffic stop.

Police say the man's wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.

Officer Phil Stewart says the officer stopped the man Saturday morning for running a stop sign and that the man was shot while struggling with the officer after saying he would not go back to jail.

The names of the officer and the wounded man were not released.
