Tulsa, OK – Man arrested in shooting death of Tulsa man

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa police say a 54-year-old man has been arrested in the shooting death of another man on the city's north side.

Police say Ben Clark was arrested shortly before 3:30 a.m. Thursday after finding the victim with a gunshot wound to the head shortly after midnight. Cpl. August Terbrock says Clark called police while officers were at the scene of the shooting and said it was an accident.

It was not known if Clark had an attorney.

Police have identified the victim as 49-year-old Stewart James Wainscot.

Clark is being held without bond on a first-degree murder complaint. He has not been charged.
