Police Chief Explains Occupy Tulsa Arrests

By KWGS

Tulsa, OK –

At a news conference downtown, Police Chief Chuck Jordan says the arrests had nothing to do with the right to protest they were made because of curfew violations.

Of the ten people arrested, Jordan says five were pepper-sprayed. He defends the use of pepper spray as necessary.

Chief Jordan says all the protestors have to do to remain legal is move off park land and onto the sidewalk.
