Tulsa, OK – Emergency units rushed the scene of a small plane crash southwest of Tulsa.

The crash happened in the 7800 Block of 41st West Avenue in Creek County.

That is roughly four miles west of the Jones Riverside Airport. KWGS' Denise Brewer was on the scene. She reported the injuries were minor. The two passengers, a Spartan student and instructor, were taken to St-Francis Hospital. They are 28 and 26 years old. They suffered minor burns. Both walked away from the crash. Heat and smoke came up from the plane's floor boards. The pilot attempted an emergency landing in a field. After landing the plane caught fire and burn beyond recognition.
