Parker Trial Update

By AP

Mangum, OK – Testimony resumes in trial of Okla. warden's wife

MANGUM, Okla. (AP) The trial of a former Oklahoma prison warden's wife accused of aiding the escape of a convicted killer she allegedly fell in love is scheduled to resume with testimony from an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent.

Greer County prosecutors have charged 49-year-old Bobbi Parker with assisting a prisoner to escape. They say she helped inmate Randolph Franklin Dial bolt in 1994 from the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite where her husband, Randy Parker, was deputy warden.

OSBI agent Robert Williams is expected to continue testifying Wednesday about dozens of items discovered in a mobile home that Parker and Dial were sharing in east Texas when authorities found them in April 2005.

Opening statements in the case began on July 5.
