OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A state board led by Gov. Mary Fallin has approved the final certification of general revenue available to fund state government for the fiscal year that begins July 1.

The amount certified Monday by the Oklahoma State Board of Equalization is part of the $7.1 billion lawmakers appropriated to fund state government for the coming fiscal year. The board is required to meet after the legislative session ends to consider any bills that may have had an impact on the amount of revenue available for appropriation.

Lawmakers passed three major pieces of legislation that affected how much money lawmakers will have to appropriate, including a measure that diverts $60 million during each of the next two fiscal years to for repairs to the state Capitol.
