Overnight Fire Heavily Damages a Restoration Business

Tulsa Fire Investigators are looking for the cause of a spectacular fire in the historic Kendall-Whittier area.  The blaze was in a furniture refinishing business at Admiral and Lewis.  Fire investigations are focusing on the electrical system. Back in the 1960's, the location was an the Ike's Chili Parlor.

The fire alarm was turned around 1AM this morning. It took 20 Tulsa fire-fighters to bring the blaze under control.  Thick smoke from the fire filled the area a half-mile away at the University of Tulsa campus. Fire fighters worked diligently to prevent the blaze was spreading to adjacent businesses. No one was injured in the overnight fire.
