The St. Francis Health Care System takes over the day-to-day operation of the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa.
The new agreement became effective on Saturday. The system will take over the operation of the hospital and its affiliated clinics.
The downtown teaching hospital provides medical services to many of Tulsa's indigent.
