OSBI Searching for Man after Tulsa Police Pursuit

OSBI

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities are searching for a Broken Arrow man who allegedly led police on a chase, then abandoned his car with his 2-year-old daughter inside.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says agents tried to pull over 33-year-old Joshua Schneider on Thursday afternoon to serve two felony warrants. Authorities say Schneider was able to elude the officers.

His car was found abandoned two hours later in northeast Tulsa. OSBI says Schneider's 2-year-old daughter was inside the car alone but unharmed.

OSBI says Schneider and a female friend left the area on foot. They both remain missing.

Schneider was wanted on two warrants out of Tulsa County. OSBI says agents also want to question him in the unsolved death of a Northeastern State University professor.
