OSBI Looking into Suspicious Death in Wagoner County

WAGONER, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says it's providing assistance to the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office to look into a suspicious death.

OSBI says a man's body was found Tuesday near Fort Gibson Lake by a small outbuilding. Authorities say the body had likely been outside for several days.

OSBI says its agents don't suspect foul play in the case, but they're helping with investigation at the request of the sheriff's office.

An autopsy will determine the man's identity and the cause of death, and authorities are working to build a timeline of events leading up to the death.
