One Teen Dead... One In Jail

Tulsa Police are holding 19-year-old Jeremiah Peer for manslaughter following an overnight fatal shooting in south Tulsa.

Peer was at a home at 5033 South Hudson, along with a group of friends. Police indicate he was showing off a gun when the weapon discharged striking a 17-year-old in the neck.

The 17-year-old was rush to St Francis Hospital, just over a mile away. However, the teen died about an hour after the shooting.

The dead teen's name has not been released. Police are calling this Tulsa's 53rd homicide of the year.
