Oklahoma's Largest Load Continues Its Trip

Jackie Myers

The giant  gas plant demethanizer is on the roll again after spending the night ay Glenpool. The tower is over 180-feet long. Manufactured in Broken Arrow, it is destined for a gas processing plant in Colorado.

It weighs over a half-a-million pounds and is being pulled on a specialized trailer by two large trucks in front and pushed by one at the rear.

It made its way from Broken Arrow , west on 101st Street. It then turned south on Memorial, closing that intersection for a half hour. From there, it headed south across the Arkansas River bridge at Bixby. It then turned west on 151st in Bixby to Glenpool.
