Oklahoma Prison Escape Arrested in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police say an escape from a state prison in Oklahoma City has been arrested at a motel in Tulsa.

Police say 22-year-old Trinity Baker was arrested early Friday by U.S. marshals at a Motel 6 in east Tulsa. Police say two other people were found with Baker at the motel and all three were arrested on drug charges — while Baker faces an additional count of being an escaped fugitive.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections website shows that Baker was serving a five year term at the Kate Barnard Community Correctional Center in Oklahoma City. She was convicted in 2012 of larceny, possession of a controlled drug and false declaration of ownership to a pawn shop.
