Oklahoma City, OK – Hot Lotto winner in Norman comes forward
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma Lottery officials say the winning Hot Lotto ticket from Nov. 7 has been claimed.
Officials says the JJ Trust came forward as the beneficiary of the ticket, worth $6.7 million, which was sold at a Homeland store in west Norman.
The lottery says the trust requested the lump-sum payment option and received about $3 million after taxes.
JJ Trust is the third Hot Lotto Jackpot winner in Oklahoma. In 2008, Oklahoma City resident Steve Trimble won $3.8 million and Henryetta resident James Nunn won $2.15 million.
Proceeds from state lottery games go toward Oklahoma education.
