Oklahoma Justice Reform Being Revisited

With Oklahoma’s prison population at 98% and county jails bulging, Governor Mary Fallin’s Office is re-visiting justice reform. She’s talking with a non-profit that helps states implement justice reinvestment programs. Gene Perry, with the Oklahoma Policy Institute, believes some lawmakers are taking a second look at the state’s approach to criminal justice.
