OHP-Facebook

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says State Highway 33 has reopened after three people died in a crash in Creek County.

Authorities say a Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a car on Highway 33 on Saturday morning.

The driver of the Jeep, the driver of the car and a passenger in the car died.

Authorities have identified the Jeep's driver as 32-year-old Steven LeJeune of Bartlesville. The Highway Patrol says 64-year-old Monte Matherly of Wyandotte was driving the car. Authorities say 59-year-old Julee Matherly of Wyandotte was riding in the car.

Authorities closed State Highway 33 from the Turner Turnpike to 193rd West Avenue for several hours. The roadway reopened on Saturday afternoon.
