Oklahoma Gubernatorial Candidates

Oklahoma City, Okla. – Filing to run for Oklahoma's elected offices, including governor, continues today through Wednesday at the state capitol.
Candidates who have already filed to participate in the gubernatorial race include Lt. Gov. Jari Askins, Attorney General Drew Edmondson, U.S. Rep. Mary Fallin, state Sen. Randy Brogdon and retired Oklahoma City businessman Roger L. Jackson.
Askins and Edmondson are Democratic candidates, and Fallin, Brogdon and Jackson are Republicans.
The primary is July 27 and the general election is Nov. 2.
Cogressional, legislative and statewide seats and judicial and district attorney positions are all up for grabs, and all candidates have until Wednesday to file.
