By A-P

Oklahoma City, OK –

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Oklahoma Air National Guard says seven airmen will be returning home from Afghanistan in time for Christmas.

The Guard says the seven members of the 146th Air Support Operations Squadron will return to Will Rogers Air National Guard Base in southwest Oklahoma City on Monday.

The Guard said in a news release that the airmen provided air support, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance to members of the Oklahoma Army National Guard's 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.

The airmen are scheduled to reunite with their families around 6:30 p.m. today at the base.
