Oklahoma Education in Crisis

Wikipedia

There is no way around it. When it comes to common education in Oklahoma we are no longer just spinning our wheels. This state is in reverse.

Shawn Hime is the head of the Oklahoma State School Boards Association. He says the public schools have lost over $1 Billion in just the last few years. It appears more cuts will be on the way during the upcoming legislative session.

Per-pupil: That amount is down over $220 with more cuts coming because of the state’s on-going fiscal crisis.
