Oklahoma Air National Guard Airmen Returning

Elizabeth Wyatt

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Air National Guard says about 50 airmen are returning after a six month deployment to Afghanistan.

The Guard says the airmen are to arrive at Tulsa International Airport about 10 a.m. Saturday where they're expected to be met by family and friends.

The airmen are with the 219th Engineering Installation Squadron. The Guard says the squadron completed electrical installation projects in Afghanistan that were part of extending communications capabilities in the country.
