Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's program, we speak by phone with Shane Jewell, Executive Director of the OK Mozart Festival. This year, the festival marks its 27th year of outstanding musical performances in and around Bartlesville, Oklahoma --- with an appealing variety of events planned for June 10th through the 19th. (For more information, including ticket details, please visit okmozart.org.) As Jewell tells us, highlights for this year's OK Mozart will include in-concert presentations by the Amici New York Orchestra, the Alloy Orchestra, the Turtle Island String Quartet, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, the Hot Club of Cowtown, and the world-famous violinist Joshua Bell. Also on our show today, commentator Connie Cronley is thinking about the late great novelist Margaret Mitchell --- and about her landmark novel, "Gone with the Wind," which was first published 75 years ago.
