AAA says motorists in Oklahoma and Arkansas are paying some of the lowest prices for gasoline in the nation.

The organization said Monday that the two states are among the 10 least expensive markets for gas in the U.S.

Oklahoma ranks fourth with an average price of $2.66 for a gallon of regular gas while Arkansas is sixth with an average of $2.67.

Triple-A says the average price of gas has dropped three cents per gallon in Oklahoma during the past week, one of the nation's top 10 largest weekly declines.

Nationwide, AAA says the average price of $2.95 per gallon is two-cents lower than a week ago, the first decrease in the national average since mid-March, although the national average price is 13-cents more than one month ago.
