Officials Urge Hertz Rejection

By KWGS News

Tulsa, OK – Local leaders are coming out in opposition to the take over of Tulsa based Dollar-Thrifty by the Hertz Rent-A-Car Company.

Chamber of Commerce executives in Tulsa are urging Dollar-Thirty Auto Group stockholders to reject Hertz $41 per share offer for DTAG stock. The officials fear if the takeover is successful the 700 Tulsa DTAG jobs will evaporate or be moved out of state or to Oklahoma City.

A vote is set for next Thursday on the Hertz offer.
