Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's show, we're speaking with Will Carpenter and David Lawrence, both members of the newly emergent Odeum Theatre Company, which is definitely one of the more daring and critically acclaimed ensembles on Tulsa's theatre scene. Odeum is currently presenting Neil Labute's "Reasons to Be Pretty" (with remaining performances at the Tulsa PAC scheduled for February 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th --- you can call 918-596-7111 or visit myticketoffice.com for tickets and/or more information). Nominated for the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play in 2009, "Reasons to Be Pretty" is an intense, unflinching, language-driven exploration of contemporary American relationships and notions of beauty. (The play is intended for mature audiences.) It's directed by Carpenter; Lawrence plays the character called Greg.
