The latest on President Barack Obama's two-day visit to Oklahoma:

Air Force One has taken off from Tinker Air Force Base, carrying away President Barack Obama after his two-day visit to Oklahoma.
While in the state, the president met with young people in Durant on Wednesday and touted the Internet as a necessity, not a luxury. On Thursday, he visited with prisoners at the El Reno federal correctional facility about changes he'd like to see in the criminal justice system.
Obama made his way out of Oklahoma with considerable less fanfare than that at his arrival. He traveled from El Reno to Tinker on Marine One and went directly to Air Force One with only a brief wave to the crowd that had gathered.

President Barack Obama is preparing to leave Oklahoma after a visit across two days.
The president spoke Thursday morning to six non-violent drug offenders at the El Reno federal prison as part of his discussion on changes to the criminal justice system.
Afterward, he was transported by helicopter to Tinker Air Force Base, where he swiftly boarded Air Force One for a trip back to Washington.
Wednesday in Durant, the president spoke at the local high school about economic opportunities in the Choctaw Nation and elsewhere. He also unveiled a plan to promote Internet access for the poor.

President Barack Obama spoke to six non-violent drug offenders at the federal prison in El Reno and said afterward that he was struck with how easily a young person with few resources could end up in prison.
Obama also said job training, college courses and drug counseling at the prison is excellent, but that it and many other prisons are overcrowded and that mandatory prison sentences were increasing prison populations nationwide.
He said he has no tolerance for violent criminals, but that it should be reconsidered whether non-violent drug offenders should be serving sentences of 20 years or more.
Obama was heading to Tinker Air Force Base following the visit to El Reno and will depart Oklahoma after a two-day visit.

President Barack Obama's motorcade has left downtown Oklahoma City en route to the federal prison in El Reno.
A crowd of about 200 watched and waved as the motorcade left the downtown hotel Thursday morning where Obama spent the night after speaking Wednesday in Durant in southern Oklahoma.
Obama is to meet Thursday with law enforcement officials and nonviolent drug offenders being held at the El Reno Federal Correctional Institution, a medium-security prison near Oklahoma City for male offenders.
The White House says Obama will be the first sitting president to see the inside of a federal prison.
Obama will also be interviewed at El Reno for an upcoming Vice News documentary on the criminal justice system.
