Nice Weather for Tulsa's Martin Luther King Day Parade

KWGS News

Several thousand line the route for Tulsa’s annual Martin Luther King Day Parade. On a beautiful sunny day, people turn out for the largest parade in Oklahoma honoring the civil rights leader. The grand marshal this year is Pastor G. Calvin McCutcheon, who marched with Dr. King in 1963. He was there for the historic ‘I Have a Dream’ speech at the Lincoln Memorial.

With more than 240 entries, the Tulsa parade is billed as the second largest in the region.
