Next Time on ATJ: On the Eve of Cinco de Mayo, a Spolight on Latin Jazz

Come on along for the next edition of All This Jazz, which begins at 10pm on Saturday the 4th here on Public Radio 89.5-1. (We'll also re-air the program on the following evening, Sunday the 5th, at 7pm on Jazz 89.5-2, which is our station's all-jazz HD Radio channel.)

With each and every broadcast, All This Jazz delivers two solid hours of modern jazz, both recent and classic --- from Bird to Phil Woods, from Trane to Joe Lovano, from Bix to Roy Hargrove, from Mingus to Esperanza Spalding.

And in the second hour of our forthcoming show --- with Cinco de Mayo right around the corner --- we'll be digging a wide (and quite wonderful) array of Latin Jazz. We shall hear, therefore, from the likes of Eddie Palmieri, Danilo Perez, Bebo Valdes, Eliane Elias (pictured here), Stan Getz, and more. Please join us.

Scott Gregory started working at Public Radio Tulsa in 2006; he started listening to public radio circa 1980, when he and NPR both marked their tenth birthdays (although only one of them commemorated the occasion with a party at Skate World). Scott became this radio station's Operations Director in the summer of 2023; he also hosts and programs All This Jazz, which airs every Saturday night on Public Radio 89.5-1 from 9pm till midnight.
