On the Next All This Jazz, It's Mighty Fine Music in Two's and Three's (as in, Duos and Trios)

Join us for the next installment of All This Jazz, beginning at 10pm Central on Saturday the 21st, right here on Public Radio 89.5-1. We'll also offer, as ever, a re-broadcast of the show on Sunday the 22nd (at 7pm) on Jazz 89.5-2, which is Public Radio Tulsa's terrific all-jazz HD Radio channel.

Each and every week, our program delivers modern jazz, both recent and classic, right up 'til midnight --- and for this week's ATJ, we're listening back to a great show that originally aired in March.

The second-hour "theme" will be Duos and Trios, and thus we'll hear from (in the latter half of our two-hour broadcast) such stellar twosomes as John Coltrane & Kenny Burrell and Eddie Daniels & Roger Kellaway --- as well as magnificent three-pronged offerings led by Paul Bley, Shirley Horn, Jimmy Smith (shown here), and others.

So, please join us --- and keep in mind that you can always find the playlist for our latest program here.

Scott Gregory started working at Public Radio Tulsa in 2006; he started listening to public radio circa 1980, when he and NPR both marked their tenth birthdays (although only one of them commemorated the occasion with a party at Skate World). Scott became this radio station's Operations Director in the summer of 2023; he also hosts and programs All This Jazz, which airs every Saturday night on Public Radio 89.5-1 from 9pm till midnight.
