Tulsa, Oklahoma – On our show today, we speak with Moshe Frumin, an Israeli scholar and artist who assembles quite beautiful --- and fully functional --- musical instruments that are based upon archaeological findings, biblical accounts, and his own imagination and scholarship. "Moshe Frumin: Ancient Instruments," an exhibit that includes more than 20 instruments, will be on view at the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art in Tulsa (on East 71st Street) from October 16th (this coming Friday) through January 24th. We also speak with Dr. Karen York, curator of the Sherwin Miller, about this new show. Frumin will also appear at a members-only event at the museum on Thursday night, the 15th, which will include an opening gala and an artist's talk.
