New Hotel, Restaurants Planned at Tulsa Casino

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Muskogee Creek Nation is holding a groundbreaking ceremony this week for a new 26-story hotel and convention space at the River Spirit casino along the Arkansas River in Tulsa.

The $335 million River Spirit Casino Phase II project will also include a spa and several restaurants.

Muskogee Creek Principal Chief George Tiger, Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett and Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith are among the scheduled speakers at Tuesday's event.

The ceremony will start at 1 p.m.
