Oklahoma City,OK – Pinnell elected as Oklahoma GOP chairman

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Delegates to Oklahoma's state Republican convention have elected Matt Pinnell of Tulsa County to a full two-year term.

The convention was Saturday in Oklahoma City. The 31-year-old Pinnell ran unopposed and remains the youngest state GOP chairman in the nation.

The 1,050 delegates elected Pam Pollard of Oklahoma County as the state party's vice chairwoman.

Pinnell says delegates made only "minor tweaks" to the party platform adopted last year.
