Tulsa, OK – OSBI names veteran agent interim director
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A longtime Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent has been named interim director of the agency.
The OSBI Commission on Tuesday selected Harvey Pratt to lead the agency when current Director DeWade Langley leaves the agency on Monday. Langley will become chairman and director of the University of Central Oklahoma's new School of Criminal Justice.
Pratt joined the OSBI as a narcotics agent in 1972 and retired in 1992 as assistant director of investigations and information services. He later returned to the agency as a forensic art expert.
