Muskogee Police release the officer body camera video of last week’s fatal shooting of Terrance Walker, Jr. KWGS has reviewed the video and opted not to post it here because of its graphic nature.
The Video Shows:
- Muskogee Police Officer Chansey McMillian arriving on the scene to investigate reports Walker had made threats to kill a woman attending a wedding at a Muskogee church.
- McMillian approaches Walker and ask him to empty his pockets.
- Walker at first does as instructed, then suddenly elbows the officer and starts running down an asphalt road.
- The officer gives chase.
- Walker is seen dropping something, stopping and picking it up. He then turns and points the object at the officer.
- Officer McMillian fires his weapon striking Walker.
- The video shows a weapon found near Walker’s body. Police say it was cocked and loaded.
