Motorcyclist Killed When Struck Head-on by Wrong Way Driver

CATOOSA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist was killed when he was struck by a car being driven westbound in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 412 near Catoosa.

The OHP told reporters that 52-year-old mark Alderman of Broken Arrow died in the crash shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers say Alderman was eastbound when the car going the wrong way in the eastbound lanes crashed into the motorcycle head-on. Troopers say the car was then struck broadside by an oncoming eastbound vehicle.

The driver of the car that crashed into the motorcycle is hospitalized in critical condition. Two people in the third vehicle were treated and released
