More Calls for Complete Shadow Mountain Review

Shadow Mountain

Governor Fallin is the latest to call for an internal investigation into Tulsa's Shadow Mountain Behavioral Centers. The Oklahoma Department of Human Services confirmed to KWGS, earlier this week, that nine cases of abuse and or neglect are being investigated at one or more of the seven licensed facilities in the  Tulsa area.

The centers treat Medicaid eligible juveniles with psychiatric issues.

The Governor called on the DHS to develop a plan of action to address any issues. The Governor is joined by Oklahoma U.S. Senator James Inhofe of Tulsa in calling for a complete review.

In a short statement, Shadow Mountain indicated it was looking forward to such a review and would cooperate.
