Missing Tulsa Teen Found in BA

KWGS News

A 14-year-old special needs teenager has been located after a 13-hour search. 14-year-old Christopher Perry was located about 8:00 this morning some six miles away from his 71st and Sheridan home.

He was found by a passer-by in Broken Arrow near Aspen and Kenosha (145th East and 71st). The man recognized the boy from broadcast descriptions and notified authorities. B.A. Officers Chad Burden and Alex Lauderdale then went to the scene, verified it was Perry, got him a meal and then took him to be reunited with his family. Perry was considered endangered because he has the mental capacity of a four-year-old. Officers say he appeared to be in good shape when discovered, though he had wandered miles from home and spent the night outside.
