Minor Storm Damage

By Associated Press

Oklahoma City – OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Severe thunderstorms packing strong winds and large hail have left minor damage but no reported injuries in parts of Oklahoma.

National Weather Service meteorologist Mark Austin said Friday that a small tornado was spotted near Fort Cobb in Caddo County and baseball-sized hail was reported in Comanche County, but no injuries or significant damage were reported.

Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management spokeswoman Michelann Ooten said flooding had shut down one lane of Oklahoma 76 Friday morning in McClain County just south of Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City street superintendent Mike DeGiacomo said minor street flooding was reported on the city's south side.

Austin said there is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms, damaging winds and large hail in all but far western Oklahoma on Friday.
