Meeting Set on Skiatook Lake Water Level Woes

File photo

Skiatook Lake keeps shrinking, recently reaching its’ lowest level since the mid-80’s impoundment of the lake. Sara Goodeyon with the Army Corps of Engineers, says the drought is mostly to blame. She says a meeting will be held later this month with stakeholders to talk about the situation.

The October 24th meeting will include stakeholders such as water users, marina owners and the like, along with representatives of federal, state, and tribal agencies. It is not open to the public however.
