Meet Andy Kunz, a "New Urbanism" pioneer and longtime advocate of high-speed rail travel.

Tulsa, Oklahoma – Given our ever-increasing worries over the cost and availability of oil, given the universal efforts to "go green," and given the ongoing concerns about urban sprawl and unwise development, is the U.S. finally ready for a high-speed rail system? He's a Principal of Sustainable Urban Design and Planning at Group Goetz Architects in Washington, D.C. Mr. Kunz has some interesting ideas about how the development of a high-speed rail system in America might well help us rescue our economy, preserve our planet, and end our addiction to oil.
