The Mayoral candidates meet to discuss health issues at a forum last night. The event was held at the Tulsa Community College Center for Creativity in downtown Tulsa. It was sponsored by the Tulsa City-County Health Department and the Morton Comprehensive Health System.
Mayor Bartlett focused on creating better jobs as a way to improve health care access. He also touted his administration's success in lowering worker compensation claims against the city.
Former Mayor Taylor said programs should encourage Tulsans to live a healthier life style. She discussed the need for more community gardens to ensure everyone has access to fresh produce.
