Tulsa's Mayor releases his proposed budget for the City Council. Dewey Bartlett presented the budget last night to members of the Tulsa City Council last night.

The Mayor's plan calls for a budget of $758-million. That is a 6.7% increase over last year's spending plan.

It does include increases for city rank and file workers. Water and Sewer rates will go up 7 and 9%. It includes funding for police and fire training programs.

The council will have two months to tweak the budget. It must be in place by July 1st, when the new fiscal year begins.
