Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma City man pleads guilty in killing

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) An Oklahoma City man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the death of his girlfriend last year.

As part of a plea agreement, Ronald Seth Banks on Friday admitted killing 48-year-old Angela Biggers, whose body was found Jan. 28 in a shallow grave behind a vacant house in Norman.

Authorities allege that Banks admitted choking Biggers to death Dec. 6. He was arrested Dec. 11 at a Fort Worth, Texas, bus station.

Banks met with Biggers' family before entering his plea. Biggers' daughter, Tiffany, says she hates Banks but thanked him for revealing where her mother's body was hidden.

Banks told reporters he apologized to Biggers' family and called the killing "a tragedy all the way around."
