File Photo

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police say a 38-year-old man was struck and killed when he tried to walk across a street in east Tulsa.

Authorities say the man was walking across Garnett Road from a motel to a gas station when he was struck by a van Sunday night. Police say the man was wearing dark clothing and he crossed the road away from a crosswalk.

Police have not cited the driver but blood alcohol tests are pending.
