Tulsa, Oklahoma – John Gisler, 42, a former teacher at Whitney Middle School and Big Brother, pleasded gilty to 3 counts of sexual abuse and single counts of lewd molestation and possession of child pornography. He did not have a plea agreement.
The victim was a 14 year old boy he was paired with through the Big Brother's program. The boy is now 18 and took the stand Thursday, saying he looked upon Gisler as a father figure. Then Gisler took advantage of him and engaged in masturbation, oral and anal sex with him. Jurors also heard a taped phone conversation where Gisler repeatedly apologized for his actions and begged for secrecy.
